OECD worsens Russia’s 2021 GDP growth outlook to 2.7% from 3.5%
MOSCOW, Sep 21 (PRIME) -- The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has worsened its outlook for Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2021 to 2.7% from 3.5% projected in May, the organization said in a report on Tuesday.
The forecast for Russia’s GDP growth in 2022 was improved to 3.4% from 2.8%.
According to the OECD, Russia’s GDP fell 2.5% in 2020.
The OECD also worsened its forecast for Russia’s inflation in 2021 by 0.2 percentage points to 6.1% and for 2022 to 5.5% from 4.5%.
